Ever wanted to see yourself surf? Ever tried to talk your girlfriend/wife/mate into filming you? Haha good luck.
Well now you don’t have to rely on anyone, you can film yourself with this awesome new gadget. Soloshot (the name says it all) is a device that allows you to film yourself surfing, skating or anything for that matter by focusing on a remote control that is attached to your wrist, so once you set the frame, the camera will follow you, panning as you fly down the line.
The panning comes from a motorised device that attaches to the top of the tripod.
I’ve gotta say, it is usually the simplest inventions that have the most impact, and I can imaging groms going nuts over this one, and at around $400 is fairly resonable considering you get the tripod, plus Soloshot has a 5 hour battery life and has a huge range of over 450m or 1500ft.
Theft…… I hear you say?
Well Soloshot sort of has that covered by chaining your camera to the tripod, then chaining your tripod to something solid, but I still wouldn’t want to leave it unattended. But that is where your girlfriend/wife comes into play again. They could lye there soaking up the rays or reading a book and not have to worry about looking up to film but would keep the thieves at bay.
Well done guys, hope you go well with this little invention.
